Executive Director

Lapeer County EMS is seeking an Executive Director.  To qualify:

  • A Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration or related field or at the Board’s discretion an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license
  • Knowledge and ability to operate, incorporate and maintain efficient ambulance service policies and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees and the public.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports, and the ability to carry out verbal and written directions with emotional stability.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively with a reasonable knowledge of modern EMS science and supervision.

Full & Part-Time Paramedic

Due to expansion Lapeer County EMS is currently seeking Full-Time Paramedics 48 hrs/week).  To qualify:

  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED)
  • Graduation from a recognized paramedic program, including current State of Michigan Paramedic license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work 12 or 24 hour shifts.

Part-Time EMT

Due to expansion Lapeer County EMS is currently seeking Part-Time EMT’s.  Migration to Full-Time expected within 180 days.  To qualify:

  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED)
  • Graduation from a recognized EMT program, including current State of Michigan EMT license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work 12 or 24 hour shifts.
